Recently, the final contest of 2023 China International College Students' Innovation Competition was held in Tianjin University. Four projects of Guangxi University stood out from 4.21 million projects and get to the final contest. On the industrial proposition track, project named Shuan High-tech---Sugarcane Industry Operation Management Mode Innovation Plan won the National Gold Award. Three projects won the National Silver Award, two are conducted by undergraduates in the main track named the Pioneer in Preparation of Ultra-high Purity Rare Earth Scandium Oxide", "Chanmeng High-tech---The world's leading producer of hydrolyzed sericin", and one project in the industrial proposition track named “Advanced Preparation Technology and Industrial Design Scheme Based on 7N High Purity Gallium“. Up till now, students of GXU have won one National Gold Award, 3 Silver Awards and 9 Bronze Awards in this Competition.
It is reported that the 2023 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and other ministries and commissions together with Tianjin Municipal People's Government, and organized by Tianjin University. A total of 4.21 million projects from 5296 colleges and universities in 151 countries and regions at home and abroad have registered 17.09 million people, and 423 gold awards have been awarded through online evaluation and on-site evaluation.
