Tian'e Longtan Arch Bridge, a cable-stayed reinforced concrete arch bridge with a span of 600 meters, is the world's largest arch bridge currently under construction, led by Professor Zheng Jielian, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Guangxi University. On October 15, the foundation construction was successively completed , including the arch truss closure and in-pipe concrete pouring, the high-risk construction of concrete arch ribs of 93000 ton rigid-skeleton, the installation of upper arch successive steel structure and erection of 24 parallel T-beams for bridge road, laying the foundation for the Bridge’s completion by the end of this year.

The bridge spans the Hongshui River and has a total length of 2,488.55 meters. Once completed, the Tian'e Longtan Bridge will set a new record for arch bridges with spans of 600 meters. It has immense scientific value and profound social significance in construction techniques and methods for long-span arch bridges.
