Recently, the 43^rd Global Management Challenge (GMC) and the 27^th China Finals of the GMC (2022) took place in Guilin City. Our university’s teams, named “Glory of Ancestry” and “Sunshine through Clouds,” achieved impressive results in the China Finals. The “Glory of Ancestry” team emerged as the runners-up（won the second prize), while the team “Sunshine through Clouds” team secured a commendable sixth place in the competition.

The Global Management Challenge attracted over a thousand teams from universities across the country. After more than two months of intense competition, eight representative teams from Guangxi University, Nankai University, Beijing University of Technology, South China Agricultural University, and Nanjing Audit University have successfully advanced to the national finals.

Guangxi University had a total of 34 teams participating in the Global Management Challenge (GMC). After a series of rigorous selection, including the preliminary, semifinal, and quarterfinal stages, 16 teams advanced to the semifinals, and 8 teams made it to the finals. Eventually, only 3 teams secured a spot in the grand finale. Following the rule that allows a maximum of 2 teams per institution in the finals, our university selected two teams, “Glory of Ancestry” and “Sunshine through the Clouds” for the grand finale. Guided by a team of experienced teachers and professors, including Fan Wei, Chen Weihong, Tang Qiuhong, Shi Dongdong, and Lao Kefu, both teams consisted of students from the School of Business and the School of Economics. Throughout the competition, the students displayed remarkable perseverance and composure, demonstrating their excellent professional abilities and showcasing the strength of our university in this event.

Regarded as the “Olympic Games” of enterprise management simulation, the Global Management Challenge (GMC) aims to elevate the standards of enterprise management and simulated teaching in business schools worldwide. By employing advanced simulation techniques, this challenge strives to enhance the international norms of corporate management and promote the overall proficiency of business education across nations.
