On April 21st, over 2,500 participants laced up their sneakers for the 2024 Guangxi University Student Campus Mini Marathon. The event kicked off with a starter’s pistol, setting the runners on a journey through the verdant spring campus. Through running, they honored the 105th anniversary of the historic May Fourth Movement and celebrated the upcoming Youth Day in China.

This year's campus mini marathon, themed “Youth on the Move, It’s Our Turn to Race,” drew a diverse group of participants including students, faculty, and members of the Guangxi University Alumni Running Association. The race route, about 4 kilometers long, looped around the campus, highlighting its scenic beauty, deep historical roots, and vibrant modern spirit. Participants poured effort and sweat into their run, pushing themselves towards a healthier spring.

Guangxi University steadfastly embraces a comprehensive educational philosophy that nurtures moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor skills, continuously expanding the scope and variety of its physical education programs. The Youth League Committee routinely hosts events such as fun sports days, the "March Third" Ethnic Sports Festival, and the "Youth Track YOUNG Motion Gathering" to draw more students into active participation. These activities encourage students to break free from network addiction and sedentary confines and step into active engagement on the sports fields. This approach not only promotes physical fitness but also cultivates a mindset geared towards lifelong exercise and well-being.
