Recently, the unveiling ceremony of the Carbon Neutrality Cooperation Center between Guangxi University (GXU) of China and St. Petersburg State University (SPbU) of Russia was held at Guangxi University. The establishment of this cooperation center is a new achievement of international exchange at Guangxi University, and an important platform for promoting scientific research innovation, talent cultivation, and international cooperation. Vice President Xiao noted that the GXU Dual Carbon Science and Technology Research Institute has achieved significant results in low-carbon design, green construction, green chemical engineering, blue energy and other fields of large-span arch bridges, demonstrating its scientific research strength in the field of carbon neutrality. He hoped that the cooperation center could provide scientific support for global carbon reduction and sustainable development, and assist in the construction of first-class disciplines of GXU.
