December 8, the training Course for Vietnam's Public Security Agencies begins at Guangxi University. Prof. Dr. Liang Enwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, Mr. You Xu, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Guangxi Entry-Exit Border Inspection, and Mr. Hoang Thanh Son, Deputy Director of the Exit-Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, made opening speeches respectively.
Liang Enwei introduced the basic overview of the university and friendly relations of cooperation between Guangxi University and Vietnamese universities and institutions. He pointed out that the training course will further strengthen the law enforcement cooperation and exchanges between the two countries, effectively integrate the concepts of entry and exit management and border inspection and law enforcement, constantly consolidate the friendly relations and comradeship between Chinese and Vietnamese immigration management agencies, and effectively enhance the two-way control level of the border areas at the ports.
You Xu summarized and reviewed the basic situation of bilateral law enforcement cooperation. He emphasized that the training course is an important initiative to implement the consensus on cooperation between the leaders of China and Vietnam and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and is also the first batch of foreign police training programs for Vietnamese public security implemented after the establishment of China's National Immigration Administration, which is of special significance.
Hoang Thanh Son introduced the reform of Vietnam's entry-exit management work and the results of cooperation between China and Vietnam in combating illegal entry-exit activities in recent years. He emphasized that this training course will further enhance the friendly cooperation between China's National Immigration Administration and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in the management of entry and exit.
The training course, organized by the Guangxi Entry-Exit Border Inspection Terminal and hosted by the International College of GXU, lasted for 15 days . More than 30 trainees from Vietnam's public security authorities attended the training.
